I first met my friend David Nikel in 2023 on a Fred Olsen cruise, where we were both speaking.
I was simplifying modern technology.
And David was speaking about life in Norway.
Why?
Well, he lives in Norway, and writes about life in Norway for magazines such as Forbes… so who better?
A funny story: on one cruise, our itinerary changed and we ended up at a port near to where David lives.
So we met up, and David gave us the grand tour of the city.
Anyway… as well as speaking and writing, David Nikel runs a popular YouTube channel called Life in Norway.
But after years of making videos about Norway and speaking on cruise ships, he’s now combined the two and launched a second YouTube channel all about cruise travel.
And can you believe… one of his first creations for this new channel is:
