Let’s talk visas.
Do I Need a Visa on a Cruise?
It depends on which counties you’ll be visiting.
At the time of writing this, if you go on a Caribbean cruise, you’re unlikely to need a visa for anywhere you sail to.
However, if you go on a Baltic cruise and visit Russia, you’ll need one.
You’ll also need some form of visa when you visit English speaking countries such as
- USA
- Australia
- New Zealand
How Can You Find Out if You’ll Need a Visa on Your Cruise?
How will you know when you’ll need a visa?
If you pop the country you’re visiting into this iVisa tool, it’ll tell you.
You can also use iVisa‘s service to purchase your visa.
They do charge for that service though. But they’re completely upfront about fees.
That might be a price worth paying for the convenience and peace of mind of knowing it’s properly taken care of.
But you might want to save a bit of money and buy the visas yourself directly from each country’s government website.
Be careful, though, when doing a Google search – because some websites aren’t the official government websites, and you could end up paying much more than expected.
Disclosure: if you use iVisa to purchase your visa via a link on this page, we’ll receive a small commission which helps towards the upkeep of this website.
